Project Description
Location:  Intersection of Briarfield Rd and Marshall AveProject:  Convert existing span wire traffic signal to a mast arm traffic signal at the intersection of Briarfield Rd and Marshall Ave.Perfomance/Outcome:  A complete modern traffic signal adds to the safety of the citizens by reducing crash potential as well as lowered maintenance costs. The mast arm signal also adds to the aesthetic appeal of the City which can increase property values and increase business owner confidence while reducing congestion through more efficient traffic flow.

Signal pole foundation on the fire station corner poured on 3/20. Waiting on Dominion to finalize the WR/design/proposal to deenergize the lines to allow the remaining signal pole foundation to be poured. 03/20/2026
