Pump Station 009 Replacement

Project Description
On October 13, 2023 pump station 009 was struck by a motorized vehicle causing damage to the station's control room structure, controls & instrumentation, and emergency bypass connection (repaired by City). Newport News Wastewater Pump Station 009, is located at 701 South Avenue. The wet well and submersible pumps are believed to be in fair condition, however they are both subject to further inspection during design.The purpose of the project is to replace the demolished pump station control room, along with relocating the emergency bypass connection. Location: 701 South Avenue
